MINDFULNESS
DEFINITION of MINDFULNESS:
"to be fully present and relaxed."
Mission Control
Our mind is our mission control center. Our body responds to what we ask it to do. Some daily preparation and practice here is well worth the effort. Most of us don’t take enough or very little quiet time for ourselves. The benefits for this quiet time, alone time or relaxation time are huge. Just 15 minutes a day has amazing health benefits. It is when we get relaxed, quiet and peaceful that our body heals and harmonizes. Done on a daily basis, the benefits are empowering. It is a great way to start our day. Mindfulness techniques help so much in order for us to maintain a positive attitude, manage stress, and achieve our goals and dreams.
Mind Solutions
Here are some tips on mindfulness. When I feel cranky, my body does too. When I feel happy, my body does too. The mind/body connection is intimate and instantaneous. Our bodies will reflect what we are thinking. So it would behoove us daily to practice seeing the glass as half full rather than half empty and to look for the silver lining in the dark cloud. We really do end up having a better day.
